This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs include unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician should be able to move the chip or reprogram the board. For customer purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or programming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
