This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to large inventory, the actual PCB shipped may differ slightly from the photo. The board is sold for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Many PCB assemblies store unique configuration data in the ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM — or the ROM data — must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer.
