This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive and any other components are not included. We stock a large quantity of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for drive repair and data recovery use. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
