This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of compatible boards, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended uses: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important technical note: most HDD PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly. That ROM chip, or the data it holds, must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot transplant the chip yourself, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer.
