This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. Because we maintain a large stock of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. These replacement PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to function correctly. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
