This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for correct drive operation. That ROM chip or its stored data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers who spend $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
