This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory of PCBs, so the board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This part is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for the drive to function correctly. Either the ROM chip itself or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task.
