This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we carry a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The PCB is supplied for hard drive repair and data-recovery use. Most Seagate PCBs store unique drive-specific data in the ROM memory chip; that information is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip for you.
