This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is not included. Because we carry a large inventory of PCBs, the board you receive may vary slightly from the picture shown. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Important: most Seagate PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that data is required for the drive to operate correctly. You must transfer the ROM chip or its contents to the replacement board. If the ROM can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
