This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no HDD is included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board — if the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
