This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These boards are intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery. Before buying, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip; that data is required for proper drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If possible, the ROM chip can be moved to the new PCB by a local computer technician. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the replacement board or reprogramming the new PCB with the correct ROM data.
