Product is the Seagate SATA 3.5 printed circuit board / logic board ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm a replacement board will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
