This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB, Logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
