This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only. No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be relocated, a local computer technician can usually complete the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
