This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory, so the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the image shown. Intended use: data recovery and HDD repair. Important: most Seagate PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM ("memory") chip; this ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical transfer of the chip is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the soldering.
