This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large stock of similar PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data-recovery work. Many Seagate PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that ROM content is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself or its stored data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
