This listing includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of compatible PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: replacement PCB for hard drive repair or data recovery. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs store unique calibration and configuration data in a ROM “memory” chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
