This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we carry a large quantity of boards, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before ordering, verify that a replacement PCB will address your drive's issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirm part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important technical note: most hard drive PCBs store critical information in the ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — either transferring the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
