This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm a replacement PCB can resolve your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs store critical configuration in a ROM chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly and must be transferred or copied to the replacement board. If possible, a local computer technician can transplant the ROM chip. For customer purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transferring the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
