This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) only — the drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm whether a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs include unique information stored in a ROM ("memory") chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the original ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
