This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Important technical note: most Seagate PCBs include a unique ROM “memory” chip that contains essential information required for the drive to function. That ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board for correct operation. If you cannot transfer the chip yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. Service options: with any order of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — we will either move the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
