Product is the hard drive PCB / logic board only — the actual Seagate hard drive is NOT included. We carry large quantities, so the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is sold for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Before ordering, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM—or the ROM’s data—must be transferred or written to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service: we will either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
