This listing is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. We keep a large inventory of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for hard drive repair and data recovery, this PCB is intended as a replacement part for compatible Seagate drives. Many PCBs store unique, mandatory information in the ROM chip; that ROM data must be transferred or reprogrammed on the replacement board for the drive to work correctly. If you cannot perform the ROM transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip for you.
