This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard disk drive is included. Because we stock a high volume of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: replacement part for hard drive repair and data recovery. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs store unique parameters in a ROM memory chip that are required for normal operation. The ROM chip itself, or the ROM data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically relocated, a local computer technician can usually perform that task. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
