This listing is for a hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of boards, the exact circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for HDD repair and data recovery use. Most Seagate PCBs store unique configuration data on a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform this transfer, a local computer technician can usually move the chip.
