Sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board; if the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform that transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either relocating the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
