This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the actual hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock these PCBs in large quantities, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery, this PCB can be a replacement part when diagnosing drive failures. Most PCBs store unique data in a ROM memory chip that is required for correct drive operation; that ROM contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
