Item is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We have many similar PCBs in stock, so the exact board you receive may not match the photo exactly. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery for the listed Seagate model. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will solve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the original ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
