This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we carry a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These boards are intended for hard drive repair and data-recovery work. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will address your drive’s issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many PCBs store unique information on a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function correctly; that ROM (or its data) must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer.
