This listing is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Most Seagate PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to function. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board — a local computer technician can often perform the physical chip transplant.
