This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for proper operation and must be moved or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
