This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the actual hard drive is not included. The board is intended for data recovery and hard drive repair on compatible Seagate SATA 3.5 drives. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Most drive PCBs store unique information in the ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
