This sale includes the Seagate hard drive PCB / logic board only — NO hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of these boards, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs contain critical, drive-specific data stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service, which includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
