This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. We stock a large quantity of PCBs, so the board you receive may differ slightly from the picture. Compatible with Seagate SATA 3.5 drives (ST3500312CS, 9GW132-191, SC13, 5699 Y) and intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Most PCBs store unique data in the ROM "memory" chip; that information is required for proper drive operation and must be moved or programmed onto the replacement board. If you cannot move the ROM chip yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
