This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. We stock a large quantity of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for use in hard drive repairs and data recovery. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement board will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs contain a unique ROM "memory" chip that holds essential data required for proper drive operation; that chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
