This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock large quantities of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery workflows. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
