This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: many drive PCBs store unique settings in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
