This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. To confirm that swapping the PCB will resolve your problem, please run our hard drive diagnostics guide beforehand. Verify compatibility by consulting the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs contain essential, unique data stored in the ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
