This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no HDD is included. We carry a large inventory, so the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for drive repair and data recovery tasks. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirming compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs store unique drive-specific information in a ROM memory chip; that ROM or its data must be moved to or reprogrammed on the replacement board for the drive to operate correctly. If transferring the ROM chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service which either transfers the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the new board with the correct ROM data.
