This listing is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / Logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. These boards are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Most hard drive PCBs store unique information on a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement circuit board. If you cannot perform the transfer, a local computer technician can typically transplant the chip.
