This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large stock of PCBs, the unit you receive may differ slightly from the picture. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most hard drive circuit boards contain unique data stored in the ROM "memory" chip. That information is required for proper drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board or reprogrammed onto it. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
