This listing is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Most of these boards store unique information in the ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement PCB. If you cannot perform the transfer, a local computer technician can usually move the chip to the new board.
