This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the photo. Intended use: replacement boards are supplied for data recovery and HDD repair. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly, so the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer professional should be able to perform the transplant.
