This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Compatible use: intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Important: most Seagate PCBs contain unique data in the ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
