This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no HDD is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs store essential, unique data on a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. You must transfer the ROM chip or its contents to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the board with the correct ROM data.
