This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY for Seagate ST3160318AS (9SL13A-034, CC45, 5699 R). No hard drive is included. Due to large quantities in stock, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the pictured item. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most PCBs contain unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to operate. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board for proper functionality. Before purchasing, confirm compatibility by consulting our Donor Matching Guide and follow the hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether a PCB swap will resolve your problem. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
