Product is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. We carry a large inventory, so the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. This board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that information is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
