This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board only — the actual Seagate hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of compatible PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement board will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs include a unique ROM memory chip that stores drive-specific data required for normal operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a qualified computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
