This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the actual Seagate hard drive is not included. Item pictured may vary slightly from the unit you receive due to large stock quantities. This PCB is intended for HDD repair and data recovery work. Note: many PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM ("memory") chip; that data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task.
