This listing is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to a large inventory, the exact circuit board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Prior to purchase, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and check compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCBs store drive-specific parameters in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board for correct operation. If possible, a local computer technician can transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB; alternatively the ROM data can be reprogrammed onto the replacement board.
